معنا و مفهوم پرثوآ * meaning parthowa

کلمه پرثوا()parthowa از ریشه "پرثوه" آمده که واژه ای پهلوی و باستانی و در اصل سانسکریت است که درکتیبه های داریوش نام "پرثوه" که یکی از ایالات آن دوره بوده و منطبق با خراسان امروزی است ذکر گردیده است. معادل آن به زبان فارسی «پهلوان، شجاع، دلیر، ورزیده، یل، قهرمان و نیرومند» می باشد. "پرثوا" علاوه بر اینکه نام یکی از اقوام کهن ایرانی بوده، به بالاترین درجه قدرت (پُرتر) گفته می شود که به شجاع ترین و قوی ترین فرد داده می شود. در گذشته هر شخصی که به این مقام نائل می شد علاوه بر قدرت بدنی، ملزم به داشتن خصلت ها و فضایل اخلاقی نیز می بود، از این رو به این اشخاص «جنگجوی نجیب» گفته می شد. این اشخاص مردمی جنگجو، شکارچی و تیراندازی ماهر و چیره دست تبودند، آنها در اسب- سواری وتیراندازی با کمان مهارت داشتند به طوری که در حال حرکت و سوار بر اسب به سوی دشمنان از جلو و عقب تیرانداخته و به هدف می زدند، از این جهت به این اشخاص «جنگجوی سوارکار» نیز می گفتند. پرثوآ صفتی است که دلالت بر سطح مهارت افراد در هنرهای مختلف (رزمی، موسیقی، خطاطی، نویسندگی،سخنوری و غیره) داشته و غالبا با این عنوان در اذهان عموم شناخته می شود. در معنای لغوی "پرثوا"یعنی برتر وبرترین، به نحوی که به هر هنری که در حد کمال باشد، پرثوه (پرثوا، پرتوا) می گویند. نتیجتاً می توان گفت که: «طریقت پرثوا یعنی روش فراگیری علوم مختلف جهت پرورش تن و روان (جسم و جان)آدمی به منظور رسیدن به احدیت، آرامش مطلق و هوشیاری کامل.»
